Excessive gas emission has been identified in the affected 12V batteries. In the absence of a vent tube, hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulphide may enter the driver compartment from under the front seat, posing a risk of injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
