The product poses a risk of electric shock because the user can touch the live part of the adapter pin when the plug part of the adaptor is partly inserted into a socket outlet. In addition, it is possible to insert only one pin of a plug into the adaptor socket. In this case, the user may be electrocuted if he or she touches the other pin of the plug. The product does not comply with the relevant standard IEC 60884.
