The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the basic insulated parts are accessible, - there is no device protecting the mains cable against pulling and twisting force, - the information in the instructions for use on the installation of the product is misleading. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product description
The luminaire consists of a frame, an aluminium mirror inside and a fitting plate (with two ballasts, a terminal block and two G24d- lampholders. Main parts of the luminaire: lampholder (VS 358 2/500 T140 75W 600V 49 ENEC10+ mark of approval); ballast for fluorescent lamp (HELVAR Finland L18D 230V 50Hz 18W G24d2 220mA λ0,5 Tw130 Δt65/155 ENEC16 EEI=B1 CE 7029); terminal block (EKL 450V 1BEF2 4+mark of approval); single insulation wiring with cross section of 1x0.5 mm2. Technical specifications: 230 V; 50 Hz; 2x18 W G24d-2, Class I, IP 20, crossed F-mark.
