ELCELL/E CELL · Battery charger and USB AC DC Adaptor
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:1. the internal insulation does not provide adequate insulation between the input and output circuits; 2. the internal connections rely upon solder to maintain their position; 3. the adaptor has inadequately sized pins which could cause damage to the socket or undue strain on the mechanical connections between the base and the cover of the adaptor. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60950.

Product description
The adaptor is intended for direct mounting onto a mains socket outlet. It has integral non-UK pins to which a detachable conversion unit is attached so that the adaptor can be used in the UK. The adaptor has two outputs. One is a pair of contacts for recharging a battery and the other is a USB socket. The product is packaged in a heat sealed and transparent package, headed with the logo ‘E Cell’ on a blue background.
