The product poses a risk of suffocation because it contains suction cups that can be easily detached and swallowed. The product does not comply with the Toys Safety Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71-1. The product also poses a chemical risk because it contains 22% by weight of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in the transparent plastic of the suction cup. According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
