MITSUBISHI · Passenger car – water sensor in fuel filter in Mitsubishi
A crack might occur in the water sensor that is mounted in the fuel filter due to a combination of the design of the sensor and the applied torque. The applied torque must be 6Nm (+/- 2Nm) and not 13Nm (+/- 2Nm). This can cause unstable idling and loss of output power, leading to possible loss of control of the vehicle.
