EU Safety Gate · Report-2008-7

Renault · Van - Renault Trafic II

These products pose a risk of injuries because a series of vehicles have been fitted with 195/65R16C tyres instead of the 205/65R16C models. Use of these tyres in traffic when the vehicle is loaded, entails the risk of a decline in the vehicles' performance which can cause the tyres to deteriorate and even burst in certain particular conditions of use and loading of the vehicle. As these vehicles are not fitted with the right tyres there is a risk of a blow-out and consequent traffic accident.
