DIA · Electronic ride-on toy
This toy poses a serious risk of injuries because the size of the hole in the key of rigid polymeric material that turns the lock in the toy is such that a child's finger may become trapped in it. It will admit a gauge 5 mm in diameter but not a gauge 12 mm in diameter. Although the injuries that may be sustained are minor, the risk is considered serious, as the product is intended for a very vulnerable group (under 3 years of age), the probability that the product will present the shortcoming mentioned is high, and it is, furthermore, easy for children to place their fingers in the hole in question under normal conditions of use. The product does not comply with the Toy Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
