The product Cartoon phone poses a risk of:- choking, because the plastic telephone keys can come off easily and they fit entirely within the small parts cylinder,- strangulation, because the non-extended length of the spiral cord connecting the handset to the base of the telephone is more than 220 mm. The product Novel telephone poses a risk of strangulation because the cord connecting the handset to the base of the telephone is longer than 220 mm. The products do not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.

The product is sold in a cardboard box marked as follows: Cartoon Phone, the model number and +3m, a sticker with the CE mark also carries the barcode and the warning: Choking hazard due to small parts, not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Made in China.2. The novel telephone is similar to the one above, but is decorated with fruits and a teddy bear. The product is sold in a cardboard box marked as follows: Novel Telephone and the model number. The other markings are identical to those on the other model.
