The product poses a risk of injuries because a defect in the regulator/rectifier unit can cause discharging of the battery and can lead to engine stalling and/or a no-start condition. The regulator/rectifier units on the vehicles in question are being replaced. No accidents involving personal injury or damage to property have been reported.
