EU Safety Gate · Report-2008-9
ViSola 20 and IONOVIT · Sun lotion
The product poses a risk of burns because the protection factor (UVB range) is much lower than the 20 indicated. The claim that the product "... provides protection for up to 8 hours (480 min) depending on skin type ..." is incorrect. Consumers relying on the protection factor indicated would be exposing themselves to both an acute risk of sunburn and the long-term consequences of excessive exposure to sunlight.
