There is a possibility of breakdown of the PVC coating over a prolonged period of time due to UV. This can lead to cracks in the outer sheath allowing water ingress. The cable's individual wire insulation would also need to be broken for a short circuit to occur. The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive.
