Moisture ingress to the heatable spray nozzles can trigger a malfunction, which can result in the spray nozzles overheating. In unfavourable circumstances, overheating of the spray nozzles can lead to a fire in the engine compartment shortly after the engine has been stopped. Some fire damages have been reported without any injury to persons.
