The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:- the length of the cable between the plug and the first bulb is insufficient,- the insulation of bulbs is insufficient,- during mechanical testing the conductors of the network plug spring leaving live parts accessible, - the cover of the flasher unit breaks during the test leaving live parts accessible, - the conductors can be easily moved from and into the flasher unit, - the nominal cross-section of the conductors is insufficient (detected value is 0.055 mm², which is less than 0.5 mm² required by the standard). The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Christmas lighting chain of 100 non-exchangeable lamps, equipped with a flasher unit marked with “Flasher control unit, 220V, AC, 50 Hz, 0,33A, CE". The flasher unit contains a button for switching between functions. The product is packed in a blue cardboard box with Christmas motif on the top and marking on the bottom in 3 languages.
