The product poses a risk of injuries because some of the lock hinges on the roof boxes in question are faulty. The box might therefore open when the vehicle is moving and some of the contents could fall onto the road. This could endanger traffic behind the vehicle or coming in the opposite direction and also other third parties. Eight incidents reported worldwide, causing only damage to property.
