The product poses a risk of choking because after 72 hours in water the figure and parts of the expanding figure grow in size by more than 50%. If a child swallows this toy or part of it, contact with the saliva or gastric juices will cause the toy to expand which may cause asphyxia or gastrointestinal injuries. The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71.
