The product poses risk of:- electric shock because:- the basic-insulated parts (terminal block and single insulated wires) are accessible,- there is no device protecting against pulling and twisting force, - the wires may be pressed to sharp metal parts- fire because the PVC insulation may get into contact with the light source and thus overheats (measured value: 126°C). The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

The metal-covered luminaire consists of a metal frame and a plate holding the lampholder. The E27 ceramic lampholder is fitted to the plate with two screws. Main components: lampholder ("F519 4/250 VEM CE" + mark of approval), terminal block ("TEILBAR 230 400V CE" + mark of approval), supply cable insulated with PVC (cross section: 2x0,75 mm2).
