The product poses a chemical risk because the layer of inflatable swim-ring contains 23% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 0.517% of by weight of di-“isononyl” phthalate (DINP) and the valve contains 13.4% of DEHP and 0.88% of DINP. According to the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, certain phthalates in toys are prohibited.

Inflatable swim-ring made of softened, yellow plastic in the form of a duck with blue print "Quacker Float". It is sold in a plastic package with a sticky label bearing the CE mark, type and dimension. There is a paper label inside where the age category 0-3 is specified. The safety warnings on the product and on the label are in a foreign language only.
