EU Safety Gate · Report-2009-11
Eurocamping · Camping Light
The product poses a risk of burns because ignition is not possible if the appliance is cold. This can cause a discharge of unburnt gas and subsequently a burst of flame at ignition with a consequent risk of injury. The cartridge in the housing of the appliance can be unsafely replaced by the user. After fitting of the cartridge it is possible to remove it without first having to remove the piercing device. This is possible because the security spring in the housing can be easily removed. The product does not comply with the Gas Appliances Directive and the relevant European standard EN 521.
