This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the dielectric strength tests to approve the verification test of the degree of protection against the harmful effects due to the penetration of water caused a breakdown between the mass and the active parts after 35 seconds of application (main isolation 1 250V) and between the active parts and the external casing of the device as of the application (class II part, reinforce isolation 3 000V). The duration of the application of the test voltage set by the norm is 1 minute;- information on the supply voltage given on the data plate (220V) does not cover the standard voltage in France (230V);- in the instructions for use, some pages give the supply voltage as 220V and another page gives it as 220-240V;- furthermore, a data plate shown in the instructions for use shows a voltage of 230V and the symbol for class II devices. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards.
