SF Detection (by Honeywell Analytics) · Flammable gas monitoring and control device – Z10 series

This product poses a risk of explosion and injuries because Z10 detector’s sensitivity to gas can reduce over time. In some instances the reduction may be sufficient that, in the event of a gas leak, the detector might not give any warning before a hazardous (explosive) gas mixture builds up. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 50194.

Affected products were manufactured between March 2005 and September 2006. The Z10 series of flammable gas detectors are intended to provide warning of a leak of flammable gas. Various models are available to cover both Natural & Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG); ac mains and low voltage dc power supplies; internal or remote sensors; with applications in domestic homes, caravans, boats, etc. They are designed to meet the requirements of the European Standard for domestic gas alarms (EN50194) and give alarms providing early warning of a potential flammable gas hazard.
