VARO · Electric insect killer

This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- it exceeds the discharge value on the terminals of the high voltage grill 45µc (260 µc) and these grids are accessible with the finger test;- voltage measured between the grids one second after disconnecting the appliance is in excess of 34 volts;- it has welded connections without additional support;- it does not have all required marks and indications (e.g. it does not carry symbol 5036). In the light of defects detected in the laboratory, the product may present a risk of electric shock due to its deficient protection against access to the live parts, because the external conductors are not suitable and allow access to the live parts. It is poorly constructed and is not properly marked. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the European standard EN-60335-2-59.
