BUDERUS · Wall-mounted condensing gas boilers
The product poses a risk of fire because the housings of the defective plugs show an abnormal percentage (up to 13%) of coal (or soot) residues, and levels of polypropylene that do not correspond to those indicated in the specifications. The condition of these materials means that, contrary to the design specifications, the housings of the defective plugs are slightly electrically conductive, to a varying extent depending on the make-up of the material used. It should be noted that this leakage of current cannot in any way cause an electric shock to anyone using the equipment because the housing in question is located in an area that is not accessible.
