The product poses a chemical risk because the quantity of di-isonyl phthalate (DINP) and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) exceeds the limit (0,1 %). The plastic material contains 3,4 % (DEHP) and 31 % (DINP) by weight.DEHP is classified as category 2 toxic for reproduction material. Phthalates have a negative effect on the development of male/female reproductive organs. Especially children are vulnerable as their body is developing and can be negatively affected by these toxic substances.
