The product poses a chemical risk because the textile components of the shoes contain a high level of 384,8 mg/kg of formaldehyde, which exceed the maximum amount of 75 mg/kg. This can cause irritations and allergic reactions and is therefore dangerous for the health and safety of consumers. Formaldehyde has low allergic potential, i.e. allergic reactions may be caused by small amounts of formaldehyde.
