The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:- the sample failed the electrical strength test for class II luminaries,- the terminals did not pass the test for the efficiency of permanent connections,- the characteristics of the chain’s cable are lower than that of the type of cable specified in the standard and the nominal cross-section of the conductors is 0.06 mm², which is less than the 0.50 mm² required by the standard,- the cable failed the tensile test required by the standard (50 times a force of 30 N), - it does not provide protection against damp conditions that may arise through normal use, - it failed the electrical strength test and the ball pressure test. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
