The product poses a risk of injuries because examination of the support frame and horizontal frame of the item, which has been in service for 18 months, has shown there is evidence of severe fungal decay of the timber frame beneath the plastic coating. The extent of the decay allows large fragments of rotten timber to be readily removed by simple probing. In consequence, the product could cause a fall hazard.
