During the electric strength test, after about 20 adjustments, there was a breakdown at a voltage of ca 500 V. The requirement is 3670 V after 1500 adjustments;- the creepage distance over the bushing of the opening of the flexible cord to the metal main part is only about 1 mm, it shall be minimum 3.6 mm. Creepage distance between the conductor of the supply cord and metal body is about 0.6 mm, it shall be minimum 3.6 mm. There is no protective sleeve at the bifurcation of the cord. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
