The product poses a chemical risk because of the presence of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear: - leather lining and insole contains 250 mg/kg, - fabric upper contains 750 mg/kg, - fabric lining contains 700 mg/kg. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is considered harmful, irritating and sensitising on contact with the skin, and its use as a biocide is not authorised.
