The product poses a risk of fire because: - during testing with a locked motor rotor, the plastic turbine of the fan ignites after 18 seconds, - the appliance is not fire resistant and the fire does not go out 30 seconds after flame extinction; and a risk of electric shock because the wires of the supply cord have a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm² which is less than the requirement (1.0 mm²). The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
