The product poses a chemical risk because the blue pony contains 31% (head) and 26% (trunk) by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and the white pony contains 31% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). According to the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, certain phthalates in toys are prohibited.

Product description
A set of two ponies made of soft plastic. The bigger pony is light blue and the smaller one is white. The ponies have blue and pink manes and tails, respectively. Packed in a pink cardboard box with a plastic window, through which the ponies are visible. On the cardboard there is a tag with a CE mark, pictogram concerning age 0-3 restriction, the name and address of the importer, “Made in China” and the warning: “Product not suitable for children below 3 years”.
