Children's wooden cot “SIMONA“
The product poses a risk of cuts, bruises and eye injury for children (intended age group from 5 month to two years) due to protruding wires, sharp edges, insufficient strength of the side slats and inadequate clearances of the side slats. In particular:- it has dangerous protruding wires on connection of two slats;- endings of the carrying beams of the bed base have burs and sharp edges; - six clearances with width greater than required 65 mm occurred when using the slide gauge during appliance of power of 30 N; - a permanent deformation occurred when the strength of side slats was tested breaking one of the vertical side slats;- there are no lines on the sides indicating the maximum height or thickness of the mattress. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 716-1.
