The product poses a risk of fire because the halogen lampholder for 220V is identical to lampholders intended for extra low voltage (≤50 V). Lampholders initially intended for extra low voltage should not be used for luminaires intended for use with tungsten halogen lamps with a voltage greater than 50 V. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60598.
