The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because :-The shade covering the bulb can be easily removed without a tool thus making it possible to remove and replace a bulb while still connected to the mains supply;-No overcurrent protection is provided thus the nightlight can overheat. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
