The product poses a risk of fire and burns because the suction cup is designed to stick to smooth, non-porous surfaces, such as tiles or glass. Heat from the candle can affect pressure in the suction cup so that suction adhesion is lost. If the suction cup gets old or is placed on a dirty or uneven surface, the suction adhesion is also lost.
