The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because: - neither the plug or the socket block comply with the requirements, - the average resistance between the earth connection and the accessible metal parts is 0.09Ω, whereas that specified by the standard is ≤ 0.05Ω, - portable sockets that can be dismantled must have threaded connectors, whereas in this case the connections are welded, - construction of plugs and socket-outlets is non compliant, - the minimum section for the power cable conductors of devices with current up to 16 Amperes and 250 Volts is 1 mm², whereas the conductors on this sample have a section of 0.3 mm²,- although this extension cable can be dismantled, it is fitted with conductors of 0.3 mm² (marking on the cable indicate that the section is 1 mm²), - the values measures for clearances and creepage are lower (2.7 mm) than the specified values (3 mm), - the resistance of insulating material to abnormal heat, to fire and tracking is insufficient. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive.
