This product poses a risk of fire because:- the cable reel does not have a thermal cut-out, a current limiter or a weak point to ensure protection against excessive temperatures; - the labelling of the product does not comply with the standard (the marking 10-16A/250 V must be replaced with 16A/250 V);- the data plate does not list the characteristics of the detachable extension lead used, and rated current as well as model of the plug and socket are not clearly visible. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 61 242.
