The product poses a chemical risk because the top of the lamp can be easily opened and the entire wick holder is no longer attached to the jar and therefore no longer child-safe. The glass contains paraffin which can be swallowed by children and cause chemical pneumonia. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14059.
