The product poses a risk of fire because due to incorrect routing of the power steering oil cooler, the power steering return line may burst resulting in a loss of power steering fluid. If this situation should occur, the driver may notice heavy steering and noise. In the worst cases, there could be a complete loss of power steering fluid, and steering assistance, without any warning to the driver. Although unlikely, there is the potential that this could result in a fire in the engine compartment.
