The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 0.8 mg/kg dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the sachets, 0.16 (± 0.02) mg/kg in the orange textile insole which comes into direct contact with the skin and 0.16 (± 0.02) mg/kg in the laces. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.
