The product poses a potential risk of injuries because if consumers fail to follow the operating and cleaning instructions and pour ground coffee beans over the side of the unit, the grinder blade could continue to operate after the unit is turned off. There have been approximately 176 reports, worldwide, of continuous operation of the blade, including 3 minor injuries that occurred during cleaning.
