The product poses a risk of burns and electric shock because of:- the use of incorrect material for thermal connection (thermal switch-off), which means the kettle can become deformed and allow water to leak;- the use of inappropriate material in the wires and conductors and unsuitable length of wires. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
