The product poses a chemical risk for children because the green mat polymer material contains 0,27% by weight of di-n-octyl phthalate (DNOP), 6,1% of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), 0,09% of di-'isononyl' phthalate (DINP) and the green transparent polymer material contains 13,1% of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
