The product poses a risk of choking because after 72 hours in water the toy expands by more than 50%. If a child swallows the toy, or part of it, contact with the saliva or gastric juices will cause the toy to expand which may cause asphyxia or gastrointestinal injuries. The products do not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71.
