The product poses a risk of electric shock because :- the construction of the converter does not comply with the requirements for safe separation of primary winding from secondary winding,- clearances and creepage distances do not comply with requirements for double insulation,- the length of the conductors enables by-passing of double insulation in the case of connector release, and a possibility of the presence of mains voltage on the exit connector,- the requirements for reinforced insulation between the output connector and mains plug for double insulation are not met. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60950, EN 55022 and EN 55024.
