The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because:- it is possible to change the bulb or come into contact with internal live parts while the mains socket-outlet mounted nightlight is still connected to the power supply,- the shape and decoration of the cover is such that it is likely to be treated as a toy by children,- markings are not visible during lamp replacement. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
