This product poses a serious risk of fire because:- after testing with pellet at temperature 125 ºC, deformation of die-casting occurred,- pellet impress diameter is 7,3 mm (pellet impress diameter is not allowed to be more than 2 mm),- after testing with acicular flame, the material of product ignited,- after testing with burning loop at temperature 850 ºC, the material immediately set on fire without any change of fire to get extinguished spontaneously. The material kept on burning after loop has been pushed aside. The material also failed after testing at temperature 750 ºC. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

The product was sold in cardboard box on which there was: "Electronic Wandlampe GLOBO T5 21W and CE mark". The product was labeled by typal label on which there was: "GLOBO Art. 4235EE, max. 21W, T5, 230V, 20/04 and CE mark". Directly on the light there are 2 plugs without marking.
