The product poses a risk of burns because the tubes in one batch display a charge defect causing the emission of a UVA and UVB radiation dose which exceeds the authorised limits (maximum 0.15W/m2 for wavelengths of 250 to 320 nm, and less than 0.15W/m2 for wavelengths of 320 to 400 nm). The sunbeds equipped with Ergoline Turbo Power 160W C1246001 lamps – production codes A7 to L7 (from January to December 2007) must not be considered to be type 3 UV beds within the meaning of standard EN 60335. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60335.
