The product poses a chemical risk because it contains a rubber solution with higher concentrations of benzene and toluene than permitted. The maximum permitted level of benzene in consumer products is 0.1%. Toluene is classified as a toxic substance with reproductive toxicity. In addition there are no appropriate warnings. This product does not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC.
