Although the product is not food, because of its appearance it could easily be mistaken for food by consumers, especially children, who may consequently put the eggs in their mouth, suck or ingest them, which could cause, in particular, choking or obstruction of the digestive tract. The product does not comply with the Directive 87/357/EEC on products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers.
